The Mission of the Outdoor Recreation Council of British Columbia is to promote and enhance the quality and diversity of outdoor recreation opportunities in British Columbia. A rapidly increasing population, growing pressures on our land and marine resources and an ever diversified range of outdoor recreation activities call for the need for a united voice for recreation. To that end the Outdoor Recreation Council, as a non-profit society, serves its members by promoting outdoor recreation interests and working cooperatively with government, business and the public.
